Android TV is not a phone with a bigger screen

Leanback Gala on Google TV wants a D-pad and Favourites. Phone Gala wants a star list and a cast button. The playlist is identical. People who install Gala from Play Store on a Chromecast, then wonder where TNT Sports is, skipped the provider step — that is us, on WhatsApp, not an in-app purchase inside Gala.

Play Store vs APK — what we actually send

If Gala IPTV is listed on Play Store for your device, install that build. If it is missing on a particular Android TV firmware, we send an APK in WhatsApp after you order — we do not run a public APK dump. How to

Set up Gala Player on Android TV or a phone

Five steps from WhatsApp credentials to pinned or cast sports. Same login as Firestick Gala.

    Install Gala Player on the Android device

    Android TV / Google TV: install Gala IPTV from the Play Store when listed, or sideload the APK we send. Phone / tablet: Play Store or the same APK. Allow install from that source if Android asks. We do not ask you to disable Play Protect as a default.

    Add the playlist (Xtream first)

    Open Gala → Add playlist → Xtream Codes. Paste server URL, username and password from WhatsApp. Use M3U URL only if Xtream fails a typo check. Wait 20–40 seconds for the EPG on TV; phones sync a bit faster.

    TV: pin sports. Phone: cast or Favourites

    On Android TV, pin Sky Sports Main Event, Sky Sports Premier League and TNT Sports 1–2. On a phone, star the same channels and Chromecast if the lounge TV has no Gala install. Annual plan = 3 connections so both can stay logged in.

    Playback settings, then a live test

    If Gala exposes decoder / buffer settings, pick hardware decode and a longer buffer on 4K boxes (Shield, Chromecast 4K). Start a live match. Empty guide or pixels → stay in the WhatsApp thread for free setup.
