Scorecard — sports jobs only
Channel zap during a 15:00 hop: TiviMate. First-run “where do I paste the codes”: Gala is obvious; TiviMate is one menu deeper. Favourites groups for Sky + TNT + RedZone: TiviMate. Catch-up / archive: both, if the provider supports it (ask about the window on WhatsApp). CPU on a warm Firestick: TiviMate with HW+ still wins; Gala is acceptable on a 4K Max and heavy on a Lite. EPG completeness: the provider. If Gala shows Saturday 15:00 and TiviMate does not, you built the playlist wrong in one app — not “TiviMate lacks Premier League.”
Smarters is the third option for a free trial night: TiviMate vs Smarters.
The empty-Gala screenshot (still the #1 ticket)
Gala open, zero channels, one-star review. The app is not a TV package. Load Xtream from WhatsApp. Step lists: Gala Firestick, Gala Android. If you already paid another reseller, keep Gala, change the playlist, say that in chat.
We will not sell a “Gala premium unlock” APK. Store or the APK we send.
When we tell people to stay on Gala
The household already trained muscle memory. A parent who can open Gala but will not survive a TiviMate IAP. An Android phone that only needs one tile. Sports still work if you pin. Do not switch apps at 14:58.
When we tell people to move to TiviMate: you hop four UCL ties, you care about EPG colours, you have a Firestick 4K Max and you hated Gala’s zap. HowTo: TiviMate sports EPG.
What neither player can advertise
Licensed Sky Q. A pub. A 100% legal badge. Those are legal FAQ and pubs. Players also cannot fix a dead Saturday node — 3pm buffering.
Pick an app after you have codes, not before. First message: “Gala or TiviMate — you choose, I have a Firestick — Premier League + Champions League.” +44 7307 410512. Order HowTo.
Prices
Gala’s store listing and TiviMate’s paid upgrade are set by those companies. Check the prices on their own pages. Our playlist is €11 or €55 on pricing. No app surcharge. Trial via free trial works in both players.

Sports EPG jobs each app actually gets right
Programme colours and “what’s on in 20 minutes” are why people pay TiviMate Premium. Gala’s guide is enough if you live in favourites and never browse the full list. Catch-up from the EPG (not a VOD dump) depends on the provider supporting it — ask on WhatsApp about the archive window; the app only exposes the button. Multi-day EPG pull on a Firestick Lite will make both apps feel broken; move the update to 04:00. Deep TiviMate steps: TiviMate setup sports EPG.
PiP / multi-view is a Shield luxury, not a Gala selling point we will invent. If you want two UCL ties on one panel, use two devices on the annual plan — multi-device weekend.
People Also Ask: I already paid for Gala. Do I need TiviMate?
No. You need a playlist. Gala + IPTV-Sport Xtream is a complete sports remote. TiviMate is an upgrade for zap-heavy households, not a second subscription to us. If a YouTuber said “Gala IPTV subscription,” they mixed the player and the provider — start again at gala-iptv.
